I was fortunate enough to have symptoms, but unfortunately the symptoms turned out to be Pancreatic Cancer. In 2009, just over 40,000 people were diagnosed 32,000 died from the disease. I PLAN to be in the 24% who survive the first year and 5% survive five years. With your help we can do this together! My husband, daughter and I plan to do whatever is necessary to live a LONG, Happy and Healthy Life!
Healthcare ~ reform or no reform at this time, in this economy, we will need help in fighting this Battle. I will have many more dr. visit co-pays, test/blood work co-pays, hospitalization ($50 per day) and 25% co-insurance for tier 3 and tier 4 meds. After my prescription drugs reach $2800 I will then have $4500 to pay out-of-pocket before I go into catastrophic coverage and the insurance starts to pick up generics and some higher tier meds. This is where you and your help becomes invaluable.
For the seven years Issac and I have been together we have planned and saved. We started our daughter’s college fund when she was 9 days old. But NOTHING can prepare you for this news and this type of financial burden during the worst economical time in our lifetimes.
